SCOUT TARP 3P. Scout is a shelter that realizes the maximum internal space and, at the same time, minimum weight. The shape of a regular hexagon gives the maximum possible wind resistance from all sides. The shelter has a single T-entrance on a reinforced #5 water repellent YKK Aquaguard zipper. The pyramid tent is designed for 3 people. The area of the internal living space is about 5.85 square meters. Scout Tarp is setting up on a trekking pole in the center. For setup you need minimum 6 pegs. Stakes and poles are not included. Small packed size and volume. Pitching with either SCOUT FULL MESH 3P or SCOUT HALF MESH 1P you get an ultralight frameless two-layer shelter. Seams of the tarp are non-sealed. For sealing the seams we recommend sealant based on silicone. Mostly prefer McNett Seam Grip+SIL (earlier known as McNett Silnet Seam Sealer). The shelter is made from 1.1 oz Levitex Silpoly 20D Ripstop 2000 mm. SETUP IN 4 STEPS stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular hexagon; put the trekking pole from the inside to the top of the tent vertically about 165cm add long guy lines on a separate pegs for additional wind resistance ; tight all guy lines for a good tarp's tension. FEATURES 1 entrance with YKK AquaGuard water repellent zipper; 2 ventilation windows; wind resistance design; 13 loops with a Linelock for more comfortable pitching a adjustment of a guy lines; UHMW PE guy lines; ultralight weight; small packed size; the shelter material is made from recycled plastic bottles collected in the ocean.
