US Army Shelter Half, Tent - Genuine US - Grade 1 One genuine US Army Issue shelter half which, when joined together with another half section by the snap fasteners, made one two man canvas (cotton poplin) "pup" tent. This sale is for one HALF of the two man tent only. If you want to buy a complete tent you need to buy two halves. No pins, ropes or poles) . Grade 1 used condition. In military service one shelter half was carried by each soldier and two assembled together to make a two man "pup" tent. Suitable for many uses such as a fly for shade or shelter, hoochie, groundsheet, equipment cover etc or buy two halves and assemble your own tent. Poles can be easily made using 20mm aluminium tubing, wooden dowel or PVC tubing. Pins available from any camping shop. Dimensions are approx.12 feet long (365cms) end to end of triangular flaps and approx 150cms (59 inches) wide. See representative photos for main description.
